Privacy policy

TurfWindow is a product of Fresh Front Sites (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information TurfWindow collects, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to hello@freshfrontsites.com.

TurfWindow is used by businesses (“account holders”) to keep their own records and to share pages with their customers. When a business enters information about its customers, the business decides what to enter and why, and we process it on the business’s behalf. If you are one of those customers, please contact the business first; we will help them with any request.

• Account details: your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email, name and a Google account ID; we do not receive your Google password.
• Business details you add in Settings: business name, phone, address.
• Records you keep in TurfWindow: properties with addresses, sizes and plans, dated jobs with notes, and property owners’ email addresses.
• Team members: the email addresses you add to your team.
• Emails sent through the app: who a customer link was emailed to and when, so we can apply sending limits.
• Technical information: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and the IP address and browser details that our hosting provider records when you visit, for security and to keep the service running.

We do not sell personal information, show ads, or use advertising or analytics trackers. We do not send your customers marketing email.

• To run the app: store your records, show them to you and your team, and show customers the pages you share with them.
• To send email you ask for: sign-in codes, team invitations, and links you choose to email to your customers.
• To keep the service secure and working, and to answer you when you contact us.

Each visits page has a long, random link. Anyone who has the link can open the page, so share it only with the right person. These pages are marked so search engines don’t list them, and they show only what the customer needs, not your internal notes.

We use a small number of service providers to run the app. They process data for us under their own security and privacy terms:

• Cloudflare: hosting, the database, and sending email.
• Google: sign-in, if you choose “Continue with Google”, and the web fonts the pages use.

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and short-lived cookies during Google sign-in. Your browser may also store small preferences, such as whether sounds are on. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We keep your account and records while your account is open. You can delete individual records at any time. To close your account and delete its data, email us from the address you sign in with; we delete it within 30 days, including from backups. Email sending logs are kept only as long as needed for sending limits and troubleshooting.

• See and correct your information in the app at any time.
• Export your records as CSV from each list.
• Ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete it, at hello@freshfrontsites.com.
• Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law; contact us and we will help.

The app is served only over HTTPS. There are no passwords to leak: you sign in with a one-time emailed code or with Google. Each account sees only its own records, and team members see only the account they were added to.

TurfWindow is a business tool and is not meant for children under 16.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell account holders by email about significant changes.
